Three people are killed in fatal helicopter accident

| May 16, 2019 | Wrongful Death |

Hawaii is very beautiful place, which is why many tourists come to the islands each year. There is a lot to offer the tourists as they take their vacations. Many of the activities involve being on or around the water, but there is much more to see than that. Also, there are tourist attractions in many locations on the islands and in order to see all that people want to see they will need to fly to various locations. This could involve flying in planes, but people also take helicopter rides as well.

This is what two tourists were doing when tragically the helicopter crashed in a residential neighborhood. The helicopter had two passengers and the pilot on board when it crashed, killing all three people. The wreckage from the crash was found for blocks through the neighborhood. The cause of the accident is unknown at this time and the investigation could last a very long time, but witnesses say they saw the helicopter nose down and none of the rotor blades were turning before it crashed to the street.

This is a very tragic accident as people who came to Hawaii to enjoy a vacation will not be returning home to see their families and loved ones. Fatal accidents can be particularly devastating for the families of the victims because they have no time to prepare for the death. This includes both emotional preparation and financial preparation. If the victim of the fatal accident earns a significant portion of the income for the family trying to pay for bills, funeral costs and other costs can become very difficult.

It is a fact of life that everyone will pass away at some point in time in Hawaii, but no one wants it to happen in a sudden, fatal accident. These accidents leave big voids in their families both emotionally and financially. The families may be entitled to compensation though which can at least pay for the financial hardships the family may be experiencing. This compensation will never be able to replace the victim, but it can be very valuable for the family. Experienced attorneys understand how devastating these accidents can be and may be a useful resource.
